We explore fortresses, churches, temples, mosques and museums in this UNESCO World Heritage city, reflecting different architecture styles from different time periods. At 10 am, we reach our first stop, the civic zone area, where remnants of the oldest European colonial architecture in Southeast Asia, namely the Portuguese fortress A Famosa and the revered St. Paul Church, await exploration. The Dutch Square beckons us soon after, with its quintessential maroon-hued buildings instantly capturing your attention, especially the 300- year-old Dutch Church, which is the oldest functioning protestant church in Malaysia. Crossing the river, we stroll through the street of harmony, encountering cultural landmarks such as Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Kampung Kling Mosque, and Arulmiku Poyyatha Vinayaga

Post-lunch, a 40-minute river cruise unveils scenic vistas of bridges, shophouses, and, at times, even the occasional monitor lizard. After our boat ride, we visit Kampung Morten, a traditional Malay village that is home to Villa Sentosa—a living history museum encapsulating early 20thcentury Malay life.
